Best in Show meets Marley & Me in Robert Rodi’s hilarious memoir of the year he took on the canine agility pro circuit with his Sheltie dog, Dusty, a rescue dog. Agility competition is like doggie boot camp—requiring dogs to scamper across teeter-totters, jump tires and scoot down tunnels—and to win, canine competitors need to have laser-sharp concentration and obedience…attributes that Dusty lacked in abundance. Rodi, a self-described urban intellectual who prefers fine wine and Italian literature (in Italian), was hooked by this down-and-dirty sport.
Rodi’s account of his and Dusty’s dogged pursuit of their victories, failures and misadventures will have you laughing out loud and shaking your head in understanding.

I have been a fan of all of Robert Rodi's books since they came out. He's writes with sincerity and humor. I loved getting a glimpse into the person he really is. He's just as neurotic and human as the rest of us. Enjoyed this book a lot.
