I love cook books & Maple Syrup! Since this book came out during the Maple Syrup season, I was excited to try some new recipes using "the good stuff". There are very few recipes in this small book. It seems to be more of a history of maple syrup than anything else. Wish I had waited for some of the reviews because then I would have passed on this one!

I also have many cookbooks and was very disappointed in this book. Maybe only worth $4.99
Too many stories, not enough recipes.
Funny that in the description that they don't mention how many recipes there are.
'not many'
Picture book category would be better!!

I collect cookbooks and I love maple syrup. I was disappointed because there are 8 recipes in this book including Maple Salmon which constitutes basting the salmon with maple. All the recipes are for the novice cook.
