Hardcover
The author of the Newbery Honor Award novel Hoot takes us back to the bog for an exciting eco-mystery! Ages 9-12.

Born and raised in Florida, Carl Hiaasen published his first solo novel, Tourist Season, in 1986. GQ magazine called it “one of the 10 best destination reads of all time,” though it failed to frighten a single tourist away from Florida, as Hiaasen had hoped it might. Since then, he has published a wide array of novels, from the hilariously warped Skinny Dip to the young adult book Hoot, which won the Newbery Honor and was made into a motion picture directed by Wil Shriner. All told, Hiaasen’s books have been published in 33 languages, which is 32 more than he is able to read or write.
