I gave this book as a gift to a friend.
He told how much he loves it. He is going through a divorce, and chapter 3 really touched him. He is not a believer yet, nevertheless he is reading it. Praise God!

I first read this book several years ago and it really made a difference in my life. I am now reading it again after loaning it to several people so they could read it. I recently purchased two more copies, one for each of my daughters. I hope they get as much out of it as I did.

First, for those that this book changed their life, I am glad for you. I tried reading it a few years ago, and didn't really get into it. There was no new insight. Last year, I bought a copy, thinking maybe I didn't give the book enough of a chance. This year, our church decided to use this book for a 6 week study. Some chapters are really good, others --not so much. I found myself underlining a lot and making notes in places. Everyone in the study agreed that this book is much better in a study than it is just reading it by yourself. There are other books that are actually better on some of the subject matter, as Max Lucado's Cure for the Common Life.
