I have the Marvel Comics version, and both of them are nearly identical, except for the content. What impressed me about this book is the number characters, and the size. I was overwhelmed by this book as I was with the Marvel one. Even though some of the infor is currently out of date, its still a great book for the fans, and those are not causal comic book readers.

This book has a bunch of information. I enjoyed reading and learning about characters that I had never heard of. More detail needed on some of the major battles, but a great reference book and great coffee table book.

As a long time collector and reader, I love this book! It was a great trip down memory lane, and I met some characters that I don't remember. Great art and writing. I recommend it!

I read this each and every page. There were too many mistakes that even a poor proofreader should have caught. I thought some of the sections should have included more info, such as the epic story arcs. Be that as is may I did mostly enjoy the book,
